Unfolding across two rooms within @mooi.studios’s intimate warehouse space in Toronto, the event features a carefully curated lineup of artists and aesthetics that embody MUTEK’s exploratory spirit.
Ahead of the flagship MUTEK Montréal Festival in August, AVANT MUTEK positions audiences at the forefront of contemporary sound and audiovisual performance, bolstering the dialogue between the Montréal and Toronto digital music scenes in a specially conceived setting.

Experimental Link Series contemplates the Persian-Canadian experience by reinvigorating, re-exploring and re-imagining Persian traditional music within contemporary and cosmopolitan Toronto by inviting different musicians from the diaspora to collaborate and perform together. The series will explore connections between identity, culture, and musical creation.
